Gokula Mishra is a Data Analytics thought leader. Currently he is the Chief Data Analytics Officer of Dynamic Datalytics. Previously he was the Global Head of data analytics, and supply chain strategy and implementation team for McDonald’s Corporation operating in 100+ countries. He is a senior IT executive with experience in developing and implementing business-driven IT strategy, enterprise information management, big data and business analytics architectures and solutions including AI/ML. His professional pursuits include how to fast monetize data to increase revenue, improve efficiency, lower cost, reduce and manage risk better.
Prior to McDonald’s, Mishra has held senior data and analytics leading roles at Oracle, HP, Knightsbridge, TransUnion, Booz-Allen and ZS Associates. He is a co-author of Oracle Big Data Handbook published by McGraw-Hill, and he speaks frequently at conferences on how to use and leverage enterprise data and open data to generate business value through analytics. He was a keynote speaker at MIT CDOIQ conference Aug 2019. He received his undergraduate from BITS, Pilani and his graduate degree from Northwestern University.
Jeanette Shutay, Senior Director, Advanced Analytics, HAVI
Jeanette currently serves as the head of Analytics & Data Science Strategy at HAVI, which is a leading organization whose services provide insights and solutions for the world’s largest foodservice brands. In her role at HAVI, Jeanette provides cross-organizational and advanced analytics leadership supporting major company initiatives that involve data science research and products. She has extensive experience working within the supply chain industry relating to forecasting and promotional analytics, as well as data analysis and program evaluation expertise in the non-profit sector. Jeanette also works as an adjunct faculty member where she provides dissertation-related methodological guidance for doctoral learners and develops data science courses. Throughout her career, Jeanette has served various functions in the analytics space, including assessment development, program evaluation, and statistical consulting.
Michael Y. Xiao, FSA, CERA, MAAA, Divisional Vice President, Enterprise Data Science, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of IL, MT, NM, OK & TX
Michael Xiao currently leads the Enterprise Data Science organization at Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, MT, NM, OK & TX. His area helps create and drive the company’s overall machine learning and AI strategy and roadmap, serves as the center of excellence for advanced analytics, and develops and drives adoption of products and solutions leveraging machine learning, including natural language processing and computer vision. The mission of his team is to help Blue Cross’s over 16 million members by making healthcare more affordable, improving the quality of care, and enhancing overall member experience through the use of advanced analytics.
He has previously worked at two large payers in various roles including data science, financial forecasting, pricing, product management, and project management. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Film Modified with Computer Science from Dartmouth College, and completed his MBA with honors at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He lives in Chicago and enjoys traveling, playing classical piano, and reading nonfiction. He successfully visited all seven continents in 2019.

Steve Shelton has over 15 years of IT sales experience helping organizations protect their people, processes and data. Steve brings a variety of knowledge to his customers, which he developed from his tenures at CDW, Verizon, Symantec, RSA and Proofpoint. He believes the best working relationships come out of integrity, trust and care. Steve’s main goal is to make the lives of those around him better in any way he can.
Steve has a variety of interests outside of work, including Tai Chi, yoga, nutrition, parent coaching and staring at goats.
