Joe Chung

Enterprise Strategist & Evangelist, AWS

 

Joe is the World Wide Leader for Industry Solutions and joined AWS in November 2016. In this role, Joe leads a team to drive the AWS solutions go-to- market to engage with line of business executives focused on solving their needs and challenges with AWS services, solutions and partners.

 

Prior to joining AWS, Joe was a managing director in Accenture’s award winning IT organization where he was responsible for enterprise architecture, agile delivery and innovation. He was accountable for driving the foundational components of Accenture IT digital strategy which included defining and implementing Accenture’s cloud strategy, next generation analytics platform, and modern web and mobile architectures.

 

During Joe’s time in Accenture IT he also led and drove large scale transformations across multiple business domains and application portfolios. He also spent time in Accenture’s consulting business serving the automotive and industrial equipment industry.

 

Joe earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He also earned his master’s in business administration from Kellogg’s Management School of Business at Northwestern University.


Matt Mead

CTO, SPR

 

Matt has a contagious passion for technology and more than 25 years of experience designing and delivering sophisticated solutions using a broad range of technologies. As CTO of SPR, Matt provides technology, methodology and process direction internally and also with key clients. He supports the deployment of lightweight, streamlined architectures that provide a robust runtime environment while reducing system complexity and development effort. He has spent the bulk of his career in the app dev space and is able to design innovative cloud or on-prem architectures for mission-critical systems across disparate platforms. He is tasked with looking at the tech horizon and determining where to make investments, who to get up to speed on what technologies, and, generally speaking, making sure that new and exciting stuff is on everyone’s minds at SPR. On a personal note, Matt loves learning and keeps himself challenged by building physical and virtual things.
