Prior to joining CVS Health, Mr. Balu was a Chief Analytics Officer for Axis Capital where he was responsible for leading A.I products to accelerate the underwriting and claims operations, drive digital transformation, and improve customer engagement and experience.
Mr. Balu was a Chief Data and Analytics Officer for Allstate Roadside Services before joining Axis Capital. There, he was responsible for the company’s overall data & analytics strategy and implementing analytical capabilities to improve company operations, digital transformation, and expand the business growth.
Mr. Balu also worked at both Walgreens Corporation and Bank of America, where he held senior data analytics roles.

Prior to CNA Insurance, Paul worked in Andersen’s (formally Arthur Andersen) Global Technology Organization, where he focused on improving technology for tax, audit, and consulting teams. Paul began his career commercializing technologies from the US Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory.
