Jacob Ansari, Senior Manager, Schellman & Company

Jacob Ansari is a Senior Manager at Schellman & Company, and the technical lead for Schellman’s PCI services. Jacob performs and manages PCI DSS assessments. Additionally, Jacob oversees other Payment Card Industry assessment services, namely Software Security Framework, PA-DSS, P2PE, 3DS, and PIN. Jacob has extensive technical expertise on matters of information security, compliance, application security, and cryptography, and has been performing payment card security assessments since the card brands operated the predecessor standards to PCI DSS. Over the 20 years of his career, Jacob has spoken extensively on PCI-related matters, trained and mentored assessors, and contributed to groups on emerging standards, advisory bodies, and special interest groups.

Joe Barnes, Chief Privacy and Security Officer, Assistant HIPAA Privacy and Security Official, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois

Joe Barnes is the Chief Privacy and Security Officer and Assistant HIPAA Privacy and Security Official for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Springfield and System Offices. He leads and oversees the execution of the privacy, information security, and HIPAA programs, focusing on policy, risk, compliance management, training and awareness, and cybersecurity operations. Barnes has more than twenty years of experience in information technology, in both the public and private sectors; for the past decade, his work has focused on privacy, information security, and risk. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Barnes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.

Greg Bee, Chief Information Security Officer, Pekin Insurance

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) whose qualifications include a degree in Information Technology and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA); and certifications such as C|CISO, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, including detailed knowledge of complex security infrastructure and information security management for leading insurance and financial firm that includes security tools, technologies and information security best practices. Over thirty-four years of information technology experience, and twenty years of Chief Information Security Officer experience in the management, creation and deployment of solutions protecting networks, systems and information assets for Financial and Insurance firms enterprise-wide information security programs. 

Tim Choi, VP Product Marketing, Proofpoint

Tim Choi is responsible for product marketing of all products and solutions at Proofpoint. Prior to Proofpoint, he was a member of the product management leadership team at BlackBerry and was part of the turnaround journey of the company to software and security. Tim also led product management and product marketing at WatchDox (acquired by BlackBerry) and product initiatives for VASCO’s cloud authentication services. Tim started his career as the first employee at Voltage Security (acquired by HP), where he held leadership roles in product management, technical sales, services and business development. Tim has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and M.S. degree in Management Science and Engineering, both from Stanford University.

Todd Drake, Head of SDI Business Relationship Management – NA and SOI Service Strategy Support, Zurich

Todd Drake is a results-driven customer advocate who is passionate about developing successful, productive teams focused to deliver customer solutions that provide large benefit for both customer and company. Todd currently holds the position of SD&I Head of Service Strategy at Zurich Services, with focus on service development, maturity and efficiency including most recently the incident and vulnerability spaces.

 

Prior to Zurich, Todd was a consultant focused on financial services business technology integration, leading efforts to successfully integrate new M&A company assets into existing systems. Previous to this, Todd held several managerial positions at Motorola, owning engineering, product and project management leadership roles within the Mobile Device, RFID, and Cellular Infrastructure groups.

 

Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Scott Gordon (CISSP), Chief Marketing Officer, Pulse Secure

Scott Gordon is the chief marketing officer at Pulse Secure. An advocate, speaker and author, for more than 20 years he has contributed to wide array of security domains. Scott is CISSP certified and has held executive and management positions at ForeScout (FSCT), AccelOps (acq by Fortinet), Protego (acq by Cisco), and Axent (acq by Symantec) and McAfee.

Cliff Hieronymus, RSD, Ordr 

Cliff has 20+ years engineering and sales experience building business driven network and security solutions for his customers with companies like Riverbed, IBM, Oracle, Network General, McAfee, and ForeScout. His network and security background help him work with customers to tackle the challenge of keeping the exploding enterprise of connected things on and safe.

Victor Hsiang, CISO, GATX

Victor Hsiang is an accomplished Information Security, Risk and IT Professional with over 19 years of experience working within the Financial Services and Healthcare sectors. He has an established track record of delivering successful IT and Information Security solutions that manages risk while supporting business requirements. His experience includes implementation of technology, security audits, risk assessments, information records management, privacy concerns, compliance and legal issues related to security, forensics, security practices and policy development. He currently leads the Information Security program at GATX Corporation.

Christopher Iezzoni, Director, Threat Intelligence, Proofpoint

Chris is a 20+ year veteran of the security industry and has spent most of that time as a threat researcher and data nerd. After 6 years at Proofpoint, his new mission is to refine our cross-product threat intelligence capabilities in an effort to drive innovation for Proofpoint’s People-Centric security efforts.

Edward Marchewka, MS, MBA, CISSP, PMP, Director, Information & Technology Services, Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network 

Edward Marchewka is the Director of Information Technology for Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network. In his role, Edward is responsible for maintaining and securing the infrastructure for 24/7/365 operations, supporting the IT customer environment, and delivering and supporting the enterprise applications that run Gift of Hope. His teams work with Gift of Hope’s internal and external customers to deliver high quality information and technology services. Edward is also the Founder and Creator of CHICAGO Metrics™, a platform to a program to help manage your company’s key IT and Information Security risks enabling you to have a better conversation with business leadership in terms that they understand.

James Mountain, CISO, Palmer College of Chiropractic 

James Mountain is an experienced leader with over 16 years in IT. His current role is the Director of Information Security for Palmer College of Chiropractic providing strategic leadership and direction for campus academic technology applications and initiatives. His past work experiences include private, public and government industries. He has been a CISSP since 2011 while he worked for the Department of Defense. His main areas of focus are security, risk management, and infrastructure stability.

Richard Rushing, CISO, Motorola Mobility 

Mr. Richard Rushing is the Chief Information Security Officer for Motorola Mobility LLC. Richard participates in corporate, community, private, and government security councils and working groups, setting standards, policies, and solutions for current and emerging security issues. As Chief Information Security Officer for Motorola Mobility, he has led the organization’s security effort by developing an international team to tackle targeted attacks, cyber-crime, and emerging threats to mobile devices. He has organized, developed, and deployed practices, tools, and techniques to protect the enterprise’s intellectual property worldwide. A much-in-demand international speaker on information security, Richard has spoken at many of the leading security conferences and seminars around the world.
